Saroo Brierley

Motivational Speaker

Saroo Brierley was born in an Indian town called Khandwa. In 1986, aged only 5, he lost all contact with his family when he was at a train station waiting for his brother who never returned.

After living on the streets of Calcutta for 3 weeks by himself, he was placed into a local orphanage where an Australian family adopted him. Saroo grew up and spent the next 25 years with his adopted parents in Hobart, Tasmania.

After years trying to track down his hometown via the labyrinth of railways lines on Google Earth, and an image etched into his brain as a 5 year old, he finally found his town of Khandwa.  Saroo then travelled to India to try and find members of his family. In early 2012, after 25 years of separation, he finally reunited with his mother.

Saroo’s journey was made into the 2016 film ‘Lion’. As a motivational speaker, Saroo has no equal, and we are proud to present him as the HX 2022 Closing Keynote Speaker.




Steve Caradoc-Davies

In September 2019, Steve Caradoc-Davies was named Chief Executive Officer of Harcourts International. Steve leads the executive leadership team to support the long-term vision of the business while continuing to add greater value to the franchise business owners and their teams, who are the foundation of the Harcourts Group.

Prior to joining the corporate leadership team at Harcourts, Steve was a business owner of the number one Harcourts franchise office from 2014-2019 in South Africa, Harcourts Platinum, which also achieved an international Harcourts Top 20 ranking from 2014-2019. He has played an active role in Harcourts South Africa, serving as a director on the board since 2005.

An accomplished businessperson, industry thought leader, and keynote speaker with a specific interest in strategic business and team growth, Steve is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Tina Sander - Embacing the Life Quakes

Tina Sander’s career in Real Estate has been defined by a relentless work ethic and a disciplined approach towards achieving the very best results.

Commencing her Real Estate career in Corporate Administration for Harcourts Queensland , she then progressed throughout the organisation and was

chosen to take on the role of Head of International and lead the efforts attached to global growth for Harcourts.


After 10 years at Corporate, Tina then decided to make the very bold and courageous decision to become a Real Estate Agent. Starting her Agent Career on the Gold Coast for Harcourts Coastal - Tina soon gained extensive market traction and was the Harcourts Australia Rising Star. Now 6 years on, Tina has found herself “rebuilding” her life and business in a completely different market place in North QLD – Mackay – and in the space of 2 short years has become a market leading agent for the region.


Tina’s move from the Gold Coast to Mackay was not a part of her “Plan” and was an unavoidable decision. Tina will explain what life threw at her during this time, what she learned, how she overcome it and how it has moulded her into the Real Estate Agent that she has now become.

His youngest sons, Mason and Jules are following their music dreams in LA and Glen has decided to support them and continue to conduct his real estate operations in the US whilst maintaining his partnerships in Australia with RT Edgar Boroondara, Manningham and Carlton. Pat Ivey

Having recently been named the 2020 Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s Young Professional of the Year as the top performer in the state under 30, Patrick brings an unrivaled level of expertise to the forefront. Patrick’s recent accolades are a credit to his enthusiastic nature .

Equipped with an auctioneer license too, Patrick confirms his position as a quality negotiator. When he’s not selling property as an agent, he is practicing what he preaches in the public arena as a prominent auctioneer within the Brisbane market.

He found that working at Carindale’s Pacific Golf Club for four years during his Property Economics degree was the catalyst to establishing a sincere understanding of what’s really happening in the community and what locals look for in an agent.

Jeremy Wilkinson

Bill McDonald

Australian Journalist & News Presenter

Bill was born in Brisbane and always loved sport and writing, so decided it would be cool to combine both as a career!


He did work experience as a journalist for Country Life Newspaper during high school, and soon started freelance writing at Queensland Newspapers which turned into Radio 4BK and finally Channel 10 Toowoomba in 1987.

His big break came later that year when he joined the Seven Network as a cadet Sports journalist, rising through the ranks as a Sportscaster and national sideline AFL commentator. Bill was also a feature reporter for the national Sportsworld program and later host and reporter of "The Motor Show” about cars.

Christian Hamilton
